展覽自述：

席時斌工作室是自2011年起由藝術家席時斌及協同創作者侯武雄、曾紹博所組成，在個人間以共同討論、製作的創作方式之外，也以工作室為單位向台灣的生產文化及技術進行在地的探察與實作。在工作中，我們觀察的對象從浴室的昆蟲、路邊的小花，紐約的建築細部，再到俄國的數學理論。對想像的實踐從鉛筆的手繪，轉化為精密的數位製圖，再到攝氏1500度的雷射軌跡。三年來，工作室的合作對象跨越國際品牌、國內外企業、畫廊及美術館，而作品私人收藏者從亞洲延伸到歐美地區。

本次2013年於新樂園藝術空間的展覽，以工作室為名所展出的工作內容，除了藝術家新作及正在研究的共同項目，也包含了協同創作者武雄及紹博的個人作品。當藝術創作從私人的靈感侷限，伸展到組織的行動，我們體認到創作的可能性也在彼此差異之間。期待各界藝術創作與愛好者前來交流。

Hsi Shih-Pin Art studio was founded by Hsi Shih-Pin and collaborative artists, Hou Wu-Syong and Tseng Shao-Po in 2011. Besides working as cooperating individual artists, we also explore and practice Taiwanese genuine production culture on the basis of the Studio. Insects in the bathroom, flowers aside the street, details of the architectures in NY, and the mathematical theory from Russia...etc. are all our inspirations. Those inspirations are turned into living artworks starting from pencil sketches, then digital renderings, then the final laser tracing cut in 1500 degree Celsius. In these three years, Hsi Shih-Pin Art Studio had cooperated with multiple major brands, enterprises, galleries and museums both domestic and overseas. The artworks are also popular among private collectors from Asia to western countries.

The exhibition currently in SLY Art Space presents not only new works and ongoing projects from Hsi Shih-Pin Studio, also shows personal artworks from collaborative artists Hou Wu-Syong and Tseng Shao-Po. When art creating extends from personal inspiration to an organization-based practice, we realize more about the fact that possibility of creation also lies in differences between individuals. We look forward to discussion and interaction with every art lover.
